Photo Finish! This shot was taken at the Triple 7 Annual from 2024 where Liz Shangle beat Al Bunch.

Triple 7 Annual from Las Vegas Motorspeedway

The race event origin comes from the goal when anyone goes to Vegas, to hit the jackpot! That is what we have established here in Vegas with the SIGMA Racing series. A race that has been hosted on July 7th (7-7) Every year since 2010. Something unique about this race is the fact that it is 777 Kilometers in distance. Winning this race has been boasted as being even bigger than hitting a jackpot.

Many of the race winners of this event have been the who's who of SIGMA Cup racing over the existence of this race. This might be the only event the entire Shangle clan has claimed victory at (Since Liz finally found victory lane in 2024). Many winners of this race have also been able to go on and win a championship at some point in their career. So this race in its own is a great gauge to seperate the champs from the chumps.

SIGMA Daytona 500 from Daytona Superspeedway

Shot taken during the 2025 SIGMA Daytona 500. An instant classic with the most exciting battles and even more exciting winner!

We do take a couple sheets out of real life NASCAR with some of our special events. Set to emulate "The Great American Race" We here at SIGMA Also host a Daytona 500

Our winner list is very unique, as we have held this race at the 500 mile distance since 2012. Adam Levine won it in 2013, while Rob Thomas won it in 2014. Two music artists (Maroon 5 and Matchbox Twenty respectively) found victory at this crown jewel event! NASCAR Regulars won from 2015 through 2019, with names like Dale Earnhardt Jr. Ryan Blaney, and Kyle Busch. Most notably in SIGMA Cup 2018 we saw Austin Dillon win, the same year he won the real life Daytona 500.

Since the new rule inception of mid-2023 in SIGMA Cup banning real life NASCAR, Indycar, F1 etc. drivers from competing in field, there is a new homegrown movement in SIGMA Cup with the past two races being won by our own SIGMA mainstays. John Roman broke through to win it in 2024, and defending Bridge 2 Cup champion Bradley Reim just secured the 2025 (Inaugural) SIGMA Daytona 500, first under the SIGMA banner.

SIGMA Coke 600 from Charlotte Motorspeedway

Pictured here is Jacob Shangle & Scott Dixon from the 2023 Coke 600.

Alongside all the festivities during Memorial Day weekend, we too at SIGMA Host our own rendition of the Coke 600. Structured very much after the real life counterpart, it is one of our longest races we host. With winners from the Shangle household, unfortunately big poppa' Monte has been one of the few not to win for the Shangle household.

As many of our crown jewel events tend to play out, this one is almost always wild and crazy. We have seen some of the most gnarly wrecks during this race each year. So whenever someone comes home with the win here, it is a big time deal.

Tyler Shangle has taken victory at this event twice with ten years separation, 2014 & 2024. Notably that 2014 campaign was his championship winning season. We are yet to see another driver that won the Coke 600, go on to win the championship.

SIGMA Southern 500 from Darlington Raceway

In its first few years, we hosted this race on Veterans Day weekend, and has since moved around on the schedule a bit. Currently resides closer to the real life Southern 500 counterpart with it being hosted over Labor Day Weekend.

Tyler Shangle has claimed victory here three times. As he is the winningest driver in SIGMA Cup history, this comes as little surprise to most.

We did have back to back occasions where the race winner here won the Championship that year. 2020 Southern 500 winner Aaron Raap won the 2020 championship, and 2021 Southern 500 winner Jimmie Johnson won the 2021 championship.

A new special part of this race since 2024 is throwback schemes. It was such a fun feature seeing all the schemes of past years featured during this Southern 500.

MusicFest Grand Prix

The MusicFest Grand Prix is unique in the fact that each car is painted up featuring music, bands, artists, as their paintschemes. Our fearless leader conceived this idea as a means to fill an empty gap in the worlds racing schedule. Come October, many local short tracks host their season finales, so this window of opportunity presented itself to host a fun event everyone would be able to tune into!

The first event was a huge success. So much that the following year in 2024 we were able to fill a roster of 77 entries trying to make the main event. It became a "Made-for-YouTube" Spectacular, and even became our first ever SIGMA 2 day event.

Since this event is one of the newer Crown Jewels, don't let that fool you, as it is nearly one of our biggest events already. In two years we saw Louis Trost driving the Elvis Presley #45 win it in 2023 and Al Bunch driving the Limp Bizkit #81 win it in 2024

The Indy 550 from Indianapolis Motorspeedway

The final race of our season every year. It has always been 550 miles since 2011, and always has crazy moments when tied to the championship closing out at the end of the year.

It has only been up since recent years that drivers have the championship tied up early. Many of the early years here at Indianapolis would see anywhere from 2 to 5 drivers still eligible to win the championship in the finale.

The race almost always used to be filled with wrecks, or retirements from attrition and mechanical failures. But we are starting to see a shift in the way this race is run each year as the drivers are getting more savvy to run the race cleaner and quicker. Always a specatacle to behold, and every driver leaves feeling prouder having won at a track with so much history and prestiege

Many times that seasons Champion has also won the finale:

  • Monte Shangle 2012
  • Jimmie Johnson 2021
  • Atley Wiese 2023
